Reconnecting with Nature: A Personal Reflection 🍂
Reconnecting with nature is a deeply personal journey, unique to everyone. For me, it’s about tuning into the cycles of the seasons and the phases of the moon. Right now, we are entering Mabon, with the Autumn Equinox just around the corner. How amazing is it that we also recently experienced a super full moon and a partial lunar eclipse? In my view, few things top that. 🌕
While many modern cultures have drifted away from this natural connection, it’s a bond that stretches far beyond what we can imagine. Ancient civilisations were so attuned to the rhythms of nature and the cosmos that they constructed buildings and sacred sites aligned with these significant moments on Earth.
But syncing with these cycles isn’t just about celebrating nature’s patterns. It’s also an opportunity to set intentions, release old emotions, and dream boldly for the future. I’ve found these moments give me a regular rhythm for reflection, with each moon phase and season inspiring a new focus for journalling, as they symbolise different aspects of life. ✨
As the season shifts, I’ll be slowing down, releasing what no longer serves me—just as the trees shed their golden leaves—and preparing for the gentler pace of winter. How will you nourish yourself as we settle into autumn? 🍁
